Patrick Beverley on Victor Wembanyama: “He’s not a five. He’s everything. You can’t even compare him to other people, he’s the best player in the NBA next year. He’s a center that shoots three-pointers and dribbles the ball… Just because you’re 7’4″ doesn’t make you a center. We’re talking about guys that are centers, that come out and set a screen and roll. None of the guys we’re talking about come out and shoot three-pointers, maybe Embiid a little bit, but that’s it. It’s not fair to give him a position.
