Paralympians share a new perspective on their medal-winning moments with the Victory Selfie — Powered by the Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition – Samsung Global Newsroom

The Paris 2024 Olympic Games marked a new chapter for the medal ceremony with the first-ever Victory Selfie. Olympians were able to come together with their fellow medalists and capture, through their own lens, the life-changing moment as they received their medals on the podium with the Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition.

In collaboration with the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) — and in the spirit of Paris 2024’s “Games Wide Open” slogan — Samsung Electronics has launched the Victory Selfie for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

To provide the best experience for the athletes, the Victory Selfie took place in the mixed zone after the official medal ceremony, at selected competitions including Para Taekwondo, Para Athletics, Wheelchair Fencing and more.

Paralympians from around the world came together to once again celebrate the camaraderie behind competition and captured a moment they will never forget with Galaxy. The selfies were automatically uploaded to the Athlete365 app, where Paralympians could download the photos and share the moments with family, friends and fans around the world.
