Ottawa Black Bears Press Release

OTTAWA – The Ottawa Black Bears announced today that the team has extended Taggart Clark to a two-year contract. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound right-handed forward joined the organization last season via a trade with the Philadelphia Wings.

The Stouffville, Ontario native played five seasons with the NCAA DI Robert Morris Colonials before being selected 23rd overall by the Philadelphia Wings in the 2022 NLL Entry Draft. As a rookie, Clark recorded 23 points in 12 games played between the Philadelphia Wings and New York Riptide last season.

“We are very excited to sign Taggart to a multi-year contract. We traded Taggart last year and he made an immediate impact in his rookie season,” said Black Bears general manager Rich Lisk. “He has all the attributes we were looking for in a right-handed forward: size, athleticism and a good lacrosse IQ. Taggart is a foundational piece and we are excited to have him with the organization for a long time.”
