Orlando Edgewater at Orlando Jones livestream Florida high school football

Edgewater travels to Jones in a key game in Central Florida that features Power Four talent at multiple position groups on both sides of the ball.

Jones (2-0) is ranked No. 9 in the state, while Edgewater (2-1) is ranked No. 9 in Class 5A.

After falling 28-24 to The First Academy in its first regular-season home loss since 2016-17, Edgewater has lit up the scoreboard with wins over Wekiva (43-6) and Freedom (56-0). Jones, which lost in the 3M final four last year, has one of the best offensive duos in the state and is coming off a 28-21 win over Evans.

Jones is off to a 2-0 start thanks to one of the best quarterback-wide receiver tandems in the state in three-star Dereon Coleman (Miami commit) and four-star Vernell Brown III (Florida commit). Sophomore EDGE Frederick Ards, who has offers from Texas A&M, Syracuse and Duke, is causing chaos up front, while Christian Robbins (offers from FAU, Georgia Tech and others) is flying around in the secondary.

State ranking: No. 9 in class 5A

Edgewater has made a statement since being upset at home by The First Academy in the season opener. The Eagles have put up 99 points in their last two games, giving up just 6. Three-star Miami commit Jaden Wilkerson anchors the line at offensive tackle, while ATH Semaj Fleming (Boston College commit) shines on both sides of the ball. And don’t forget junior quarterback Carter Emanuel, who has offers from Arkansas, West Virginia, UCF and others.
