Open candidate John Catlin ready for final LIV Golf start

From the west coast of Scotland to Uttoxeter: that’s the route LIV Golf players will take this week, hoping to swap the wet and windy conditions of The Open for sunnier weather in Staffordshire.

One of the players making the 300-mile journey south for LIV Golf UK at JCB Golf & Country Club is American John Catlin, who will be feeling confident after finishing joint 16th at The Open. Only one of his LIV colleagues finished higher at Royal Troon, Spaniard Jon Rahm.
