One of Team USA’s most popular athletes from the Paris Olympics shows off his talents from the horse to the dance floor.

Stephen Nedoroscik, a two-time Olympic bronze medalist, was recently announced as the first contestant for Season 33 of “Dancing With the Stars.” The announcement was made Thursday morning on “Good Morning America.”

The 25-year-old was a vaulting horse specialist for the U.S. men’s gymnastics team, winning two bronze medals at the Games.

His first participation was in the team event, where Nedoroscik’s performance helped Team USA take third place and win their first Olympic medal in 16 years.

The second came in the individual vaulting competition. Nedoroscik’s bronze medal in that event made him the first American to win an individual medal in eight years.

Nedoroscik has been training for the Olympics for years and he’s looking forward to showing off some of those skills on the dance floor.

“I want to bring some of that gymnastics — maybe a backflip or a handstand,” Nedoroscik said on GMA. “I want to have fun with it.”

In addition to his skills on the pommel, Nedoroscik also became known for his signature look with his glasses and the way he pulls a “Clark Kent” when he takes off his glasses before going into action.

When asked what he planned to do with his glasses while dancing, Nedoroscik said he might try something different.

“I could have some fun with them — I’m afraid they’ll fly off … maybe we could make a gadget, hold them up,” he said. “Maybe some new glasses, to fit the theme, right?”
