Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles made her New York Fashion Week runway debut

US Olympic Team gymnast Jordan Chiles added ‘runway model’ to her list of accomplishments when she made her New York Fashion Week debut on Saturday.

The athlete walked the runway at the Kim Shui Spring 2025 ready-to-wear show in a shimmery silver and blue floral-patterned leotard-style look with a flowing asymmetrical skirt. The bodysuit featured sheer cutouts down the sides in a floral pattern.

Chiles wore the romantic ensemble with white sneakers, two long braids and shiny silver eyeshadow to match the piece. As she walked, her arm tattoo of the Olympic rings was on full display.

In addition to her medal-winning gymnastics talent, Chiles has also become known for her eccentric style and beauty, wearing bright, maximalist leotards, exaggerated acrylic nails, and fun makeup and hairstyles.

“It just makes me more confident. It makes me feel like I am who I am. It makes me feel like I can just enjoy my personality and be what God created me to be, and not be shy, not be ashamed of who I was, but really embrace myself,” she said in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games this summer. “And fashion is how I can show that.”

Chiles added that when she’s preparing for a competition, she preps her entire look the same way she would for a step-and-repeat: “I like to put it all together, all in one look, like I’m walking down a red carpet.”
