Ohio State basketball welcomes Nebraska power forward A’mare Bynum

The recruiting calendar for American football is very different from that of basketball. The Ohio State basketball team typically uses the weekends of football to host prospects.

That’s exactly what will happen with 2025 Nebraska power forward A’mare Bynum, who visits Columbus the weekend of Oct. 4. The Buckeyes host Iowa that weekend, as a packed Ohio Stadium will undoubtedly be an impressive sight for the nation’s No. 108 prospect according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Bynum also has officials scheduled for Nebraska, Iowa, Colorado and LSU. Those organizations all likely have a better chance of getting his contract, as it would be difficult to lure him away from his own public school.

Ohio State has not yet made a commitment for 2025, but there is a lot of interest from promising talent.
