Obituary Marcie Levine –

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marcie Levine on June 12, 2024, from complications resulting from a bicycle accident. This unexpected passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, the Boulder community, and her extended community. She was an amazing woman, wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend who will be remembered for her love of family, friends, and animals. She was incredibly smart with a great sense of humor and cared so deeply about those around her. Her generosity was boundless. Marcie and Brian opened their home for family gatherings, and to family, friends, and strangers for short and long stays. With travels too numerous to mention, Marcie had a passion for life and travel. Her abiding interest in experiencing diverse cultures and meeting new people took her all over the world. She often combined her passion for travel with her love of animals by bringing veterinary supplies and funds to countries in need. Marcie served as the Founder and CEO of SurveyConnect for the past 29 years. Using her HR expertise, she built a company from the ground up to help companies create a better environment for their employees. She will miss her friends, her husband Brian Stern, their son Matthew, her brother, Steven Levine, and the Stern and Levine families. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 13th at 1pm at the Boulder JCC. The family would appreciate donations in Marcie’s honor to the following organizations: the Boulder Humane Society who Marcie and family have supported for many years, Cyclists 4 Community who advocate for safe cycling in Boulder County, and the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab where Marcie went for her acute rehabilitation after her accident.
