Obituary Frank Ashton – Madison, OH (1940-2024)

Frank Albert Ashton, age 83, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at the David Simpson Hospice House. He was born on August 7, 1940 in Cleveland, the son of Leo and Mary (Sidoti) Ashton. He married Dorothy “Dottie” Lee on August 19, 1967 in LaCrosse, WI. Frank was a talented artist and served as an art teacher for Madison High School for many years. Frank loved the Madison Community and received many awards for the work he did in our community. He enjoyed cooking and traveling with his wife Dottie. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy “Dottie” Ashton; children, Maria (Phil) Ashton-Stebbings, Kari (Jacques) Sabrie, Kathleen Ashton (Matthew Furjanic), Michael (Elizabeth) Ashton; grandchildren, Emma, ​​Lucy, Ryan, Reese, Ashton, Dagny, Clara, and Dominic. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Thomas and Michael Ashton. Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 15, at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, at the funeral home. Final resting place is All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
