Nsoatreman FC became champions of the Ghana FA Cup after an exciting final against Bofoakwa Tano FC.

The match ended in extra time in a 1–1 draw, but Nsoatreman FC secured victory with a 5–4 win in the penalty shootout. The epic final took place at the University of Ghana Stadium.

Richard Dzikoe opened the scoring for Bofoakwa Tano in the first half, finding the net in the 21st minute with a shot from close range, assisted by Ali Alhassan’s ground cross from the left.

Despite impressive play from both teams, especially in the last fifteen minutes of the first half, Nsoatreman managed to equalize in the closing moments of the second half. Sadat Mohammed took advantage of a goalkeeper’s mistake and scored with a long shot.

With no more goals scored in extra time, the match went to a penalty shootout. Nsoatreman FC were victorious, winning 5-4 to lift the 2023/24 MTN FA Cup trophy.

As champions, they have earned a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup for next season.
