“No connection” Nick Kyrgios responds to ‘Hawk Thua’ girl attending Jake Paul vs Mike Perry fight – FirstSportz

Nick Kyrgioswho was known for his opinions on and off the field, did not hold back in expressing his opinion when a video of Halie Welch attending the fight between Jake Paul And Mike Perry in Tampa, Florida went viral.

Welch, better known as the ‘Hawk Thua girl’, is an internet personality who rose to fame after a video of her interview with a man on the street for Tim & Dee TV went viral. It’s not the first time the American has been in the news for her appearances at sporting events since that interview.

And while the number of people who have suddenly become popular due to viral videos has increased, it has made Krygios somewhat angry. The Australian ‘Bad Boy’, who did not like the fact that someone has become a sensation for something that is rather ‘obscene’, criticized Welch on X.

No correlation between fame and actually being decent at something anymore.

Nick Kyrgios explains how a player can beat Carlos Alcaraz

Nick Kyrgios is no longer seen on tennis courts, as his injuries have pretty much destroyed his career. And although the 29-year-old Australian is working hard to get back, he is very active on social media and joins in on tennis-related discussions.

During an ‘Ask me a question’ session on Instagram, a fan asked him if there was a way to beat Carlos Alcaraz, who has won two Grand Slam titles in a row at the French Open and Wimbledon. Kyrgios believes that if the opponent disrupts Alcaraz’s rhythm, it could become easier for him to beat the 21-year-old Spaniard.

Incredible talent. Incredible athlete & an incredible personality. You need to out-serve him. I would serve how I serve, and would try and break his rhythm as much as possible, hit return and come in, dropshots, 2 first-serves, completely take the racket out of his hands. He is incredible when front running. Talent and creativity come out - just ideas.

Alcaraz won his first Roland Garros trophy by beating Germany’s Alexander Zverev, while he claimed his second Wimbledon title with ease after his three-set victory over seven-time Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic.

Kyrgios, who lost in his first major final to Djokovic at Wimbledon 2022, has played just one match on the ATP Tour since October 2022. Injury concerns have also led him to consider retirement. However, Kyrgios has done commentary work and was also behind the BBC microphone to cover Wimbledon this year.
