Nigerian Oluwole breaks GWR with 75-hour marathon of football video games

The GWR said Oluwolenicknamed, ““Khoded”the longest video game marathon of a football match, with a time of 75 hours. He said he far surpassed the previous record of 50 hours, set by Englishman David Whitefoot in 2022.

“Oside, a qualified biochemist who currently works as a car dealer, attempted to break the record to raise money for a local hospital in his hometown of Ijebu Ode.

“Unlike all seven previous record holders who played FIFA or Pro Evolution Soccer during their attempts, Oside played the mobile game Dream League Soccer 2023 on his iPhone, which he connected to a TV screen.

“Oside has been a big fan of the free-to-play football simulation since he first downloaded it in 2016.

“He played over 500 games during his record attempt.”

For rules of everything “longest marathon” According to GWR, Oluwole was given five minutes of rest after every hour of gaming. Only during these breaks could he eat, take a nap or go to the toilet.

“I really enjoyed playing for 75 hours straight, with only a few hours of rest.

“It was such a great moment; the event was very interesting and I thank God that it was successful,” said Oluwole.

According to Oluwole, he now hopes to set more world records by playing football video games, including console games such as the FIFA and PES series.
