Nigeria: Paris 2024 – Nigerian Oborodudu loses semi-final

The 2020 Olympic silver medalist lost in the semi-finals to Kyrgyzstan’s Meerim Zhumanazarova.

It was a painful loss for Team Nigeria Bless Oborodudu On Monday evening she lost her semi-final to Meerim Zhumanazarova of Kyrgyzstan, who won 3-1 in the women’s 68 kg class.

The silver medalist at the 2020 Olympics collided with Zhumanazarova in the first half, which slowed her down in the second half of the match.

She will return on Tuesday for the bronze medal match against North Korea’s Pak Sol Gum, who lost 10-0 to American Amit Elor.
