Nick Chubb gets a lot of praise from Derrick Henry

Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb has earned praise from fellow All-Pro running back Derrick Henry. Henry gave Chubb the nod while discussing the running back position and one of the most elusive clubs in sports, the 10,000 rushing yards club. Henry is 368 yards away from the club’s door.

Entering his ninth season in the league, Henry is now an elder statesman at a position where youth has become the most valuable attribute. Henry was complementary to Nick Chubb, his former SEC rival.

When asked who the next 10,000-yard rusher would be, Henry said, “Nick Chubb, for sure,” he added. “He’s a beast. He’s a different breed. Next to me, he’s probably one of my favorite backs.”

Henry’s accolade means a lot. Thirty-one players in the NFL have rushed for 10,000+ yards. Chubb currently has 6,511 yards in six seasons in the NFL. Unfortunately, it could be weeks before the Browns see Chubb on the field again. The Browns currently do not have a set date for Chubb’s return. Chubb is the most important player on the Browns offense. The team needs to make sure he is fully healthy before they can trust him to lead them to victory like he has in years past.
