NFL Week 2 Scores: Saints Crush Cowboys in Dallas, Vikings Move to 2-0 with Win Over 49ers

The season isn’t over after two weeks, but if it were, the New Orleans Saints would be atop the NFL’s heap in 2024. The Saints cemented their spot — at least for this early point in the season — atop the NFL table with a 44-19 win at Dallas. Alvin Kamara had a monster game with 115 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns, and he added a receiving touchdown to boot.

Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson had the monster play of the early window, making a 97-yard touchdown catch in Minnesota’s 23-17 win over the 49ers, who were without Christian McCaffrey for the second straight week to open the season. Sam Darnold threw for 268 yards and two touchdowns in the win.

In Charlotte, the Chargers moved to 2-0, with a 26-3 victory over the Panthers. JK Dobbins’ sophomore effort in his career got off to a good start with a second consecutive 100-yard (131 yards) effort to open the season. The Panthers continue to struggle with Carolina managing just 159 yards of offense.
