After going to 3-5, Jerry Jones says he wants to make moves at the deadline

November 3 — Jones noted after the loss that he hasn’t given up on the team yet and that they will likely make some moves before Tuesday’s deadline. However, after another loss, it remains to be seen whether the moves will be buyers or sellers.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said the team has “a number of things in the mix” ahead of Tuesday’s trade deadline, indicating Dallas could be buyers at the deadline.

Steelers continue to look for WR help

November 3 — Pittsburgh is 6-2 at the bye and atop the AFC North standings. As they begin their playoff push, the Steelers are looking to add more talent at WR, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

After an injury to Jaguars WR Christian Kirk keeps him out, Pittsburgh could turn to New York’s Mike Williams and Carolina’s Adam Thielen.

Azeez Ojulari and Za’Darius Smith are in demand as teams look for edge rushers

November 3 — Azeez Ojulari has been “the subject of several calls” from teams looking for a new edge rusher, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Depending on the Browns’ outcome in Week 9, DE Za’Darius Smith could become available.

Jets receive calls about WR Mike Williams

November 3 — The writing may have been on the wall since Week 6, but Williams is “gaining interest” before the trade deadline, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. The Jets’ WR room has quickly become crowded and Williams could be the odd man out.

Chiefs explore acquisition of CB Marshon Lattimore

November 2 — The Chiefs are looking to strengthen their title defense with roster improvements. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, they recently inquired about Saints CB Marshon Lattimore.

Lattimore is inactive for Week 9 and the extent of Kansas City’s interest will largely depend on the health of the four-time Pro Bowlers.
