There is a “real chance” that Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins will be sidelined for Sunday’s Week 8 game with the Philadelphia Eagles after suffering a quad injury during practice on Friday, according to ESPN’s Dan Graziano.

The Bengals plan to make the call to Higgins closer to Sunday’s 1 p.m. kickoff, Graziano said.

According to sources, there is a real chance Bengals WR Tee Higgins, who injured his quad during Friday’s practice, will miss Sunday’s game against the Eagles. The Bengals plan to play until game time before making a decision, but there is pessimism about his chances of playing.

Higgins has 29 catches for 341 yards and three touchdowns in five games this season. Andrei Iosivas, who has served as the Bengals’ WR3 behind Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase, will likely receive more targets if Higgins is sidelined.
