Aaron Glenn is reportedly catching the attention of other teams in his fourth season as the Detroit Lions defensive coordinator.

Glenn “is generating more NFL buzz than in the past,” according to ESPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler.

“His name comes up more in league circles than I care to remember, and that’s not just in relation to the Saints job, with which he has ties as a former assistant coach there,” Fowler wrote. “He’s always had leadership qualities, and now he has proof of concept with Detroit’s surging defense.”

Glenn’s defense shined on Sunday as the Lions shut out the Houston Texans in the second half, allowing the offense to rebound from a 16-point defense.

After five years as the defensive backs coach for the New Orleans Saints, Glenn joined the Lions ahead of the 2021 season.
