Kirk’s injury is a significant loss for the 2-6 Jaguars, as he was one of the most trusted voices in the locker room, according to Schultz.

The wide receiver left Sunday’s game in the second half with 59 yards on two receptions. This season he has totaled 379 yards on 27 receptions with one touchdown.

Schefter had reported Saturday that “it wouldn’t be a surprise” if Johnson, Kirk or both were traded to new teams before the Nov. 5 deadline.

Unfortunately, the 27-year-old wide receiver will be removed from the trade market due to his injury.
