Could the Jacksonville Jaguars, who are currently coming off an 0-3 season, be interested in former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick if they ultimately decide to part ways with Doug Pederson?

SI.com’s Albert Breer believes it’s a possibility, as he said during an appearance on Tuesday The Dan Patrick Show (2:45 points):

“That’s just a sly one with Belichick to me. Tony Khan (the son of Jags owner Shahid Khan) has a really strong relationship with Belichick. To the point where when they hired Doug Marrone full-time and removed the interim tag in 2017, it was largely on Belichick’s advice to do it. So Bill has had the owner’s ear in that spot for a while. And I wonder if that doesn’t play into the minds of the owners there, especially when you’re renovating your stadium. You’ve got sponsors to sell, you’ve got suites to sell, all that kind of stuff. Do you need a little more credibility? There’s a few things that fit in there, so I wouldn’t completely rule that out as a viable possibility for Belichick in 2025.”
