NFL: Browns DT Mike Hall Jr. matter remains under investigation, no change in status

Browns rookie defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr. remains on the Commissioner’s Exempt list after plead without contradiction to misbehavior on Thursday.

Hall was arrested in August for domestic violence and was placed on the list before the players were reduced to 53 that month. Hall, who is paid while on the list, pleaded guilty to lesser charges Thursday and was given probation, a fine and a suspended prison sentence.

In a statement to multiple reporters, the NFL indicated that no changes have occurred following the request.

“We have been closely monitoring all developments in the matter, which remains under the Personal Conduct Policy review. There has been no change in his status,” the statement said.

Hall was selected in the second round by Ohio State this year.
