Netflix’s ‘His & Hers’ Adds Crystal Fox, Sunita Mani, Rebecca Rittenhouse and Marin Ireland

Crystal Fox, Sunita Mani, Rebecca Rittenhouse and Marin Ireland have joined the cast of the upcoming Netflix series, His & HersProduction starts this fall.

The six-episode limited series from William Oldroyd and based on the novel by Alice Feeney is set in the sweltering heat of Atlanta, where Anna (Thompson) lives in eerie seclusion, withdrawn from her friends and her career as a journalist. But when she hears of a murder in Dahlonega, the sleepy town where she grew up, she is brought back to life, thrown into the case, and begins searching for answers. Detective Jack Harper (Jon Bernthal) is strangely suspicious of her involvement and targets her in his own investigation. There are two sides to every story, his and hers, which means someone is always lying.

In a series regular role, Fox plays Alice, Anna’s mother, who still lives in her home in Dahlonega, Georgia. Strong, speaking her mind, lives alone, but maybe she shouldn’t. She hasn’t heard from her daughter in a year, but she knows why. Her son-in-law, Detective Jack Harper, is keeping an eye on her because her health is failing, which has resulted in strange behavior around town.

In a series regular role, Mani plays Priya, earnestly efficient, eager to please, and fascinated by murder. Priya is a new detective for the Dahlonega, Georgia Sheriff’s Office and partner of Detective Jack Harper. Having left the big city for a job in a small town, Priya brings a sharp quirk to the job that her mentor, Jack, finds both endearing and irritating.

In a series regular role, Rittenhouse plays Lexy, blonde hair, a Hollywood smile, smart, professional and driven by pure ambition, Lexy is now the anchor of WSK-TV News — a position previously held by the hugely popular Anna Andrews for years. As the new field reporter at WSK, Lexy took advantage of Anna’s absence and jumped into the anchor position. While she’s “excited” to have Anna back at the news station, she has no plans to give up the anchor role.

Ireland plays Zoe in a supporting role. Sharp-tongued and bored, Zoe lives in her parents’ house with Detective Jack Harper and her six-year-old daughter Meg. Her love of wine and her too-tight sweatpants suggest she’s a woman who peaked in high school. She lets Jack stay with her until he gets back on his feet, and the murder in their small town is as thrilling as it is shocking when she learns who the victim is.

Pablo Schreiber also plays a role.

His & Hers comes from writer/executive producer Bill Dubuque; writer/executive producer Dee Johnson, who serves as showrunner; filmmaker William Oldroyd, who serves as writer, executive producer, and will direct the first episode; and executive producers Jessica Chastain and Kristen Campo. Fifth Season is the studio.

Fox is repped by Greene Talent and Jackoway Tyerman. Rittenhouse is repped by Rogue Management and CAA.
