Netflix, Prime Video: A week full of series premieres! What to watch on streaming?

The second season of the series “The Green Glove Gang” will be available on Netflix from July 17.

The main character of the series “The bear” is Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White), a young chef from the fine dining world who, after the painful departure of a family member, returns to Chicago to run the family sandwich shop – The Original Beef of Chicagoland. Faced with a reality unlike any other, Carmy tries to navigate the challenges of running a small business, only to be further complicated by his inherent stubbornness, reluctant kitchen staff and strained family relationships.

The third season of the series “The Bear” will be available on Disney+ from July 17.

IN “Cobra Kai“We learn the further fate of the heroes of the 1984 film “The Karate Kid”. The action of the series takes place more than 30 years after the historic karate tournament of 1984. Despite the passage of time, Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) remain rivals who are at odds with each other.

The sixth season of “Cobra Kai” will be the last. It is divided into three parts. The first part will debut on July 18, the next on November 28 and the last in 2025.

“Those who are about to die” delves into the world of the games, characterized by greed, the pursuit of power and corruption. The races in the Circus Maximus are controlled by four corporations belonging to the patricians: the Blue, Red, White and Green factions, and shares in them are the most valuable asset in Rome. As the population, hungry for entertainment, becomes increasingly blasé and bloodthirsty, there is a need to build a new stadium for gladiatorial fights – the Colosseum. The scale of this enterprise, the fights of gladiators and animals, is enormous – as is the underground with a thriving bookmaking business. In the underground, under the stands, thousands of people work and live – including thousands of those who will die for the games – we read in the description of Prime Video.

The star cast includes Oscar winner Sir Anthony Hopkins as Emperor Vespasian, Iwan Rheon as Tenax, Tom Hughes as Titus Flavianus, Sara Martins as Cala and Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson as Viggo.

“Those About To Die” is available on Prime Video from July 19.

Part “Women of the Lake” is set in the 1960s in Baltimore. An unsolved crime forces housewife Maddie Schwartz (Natalie Portman) to change her life and become an investigative journalist. Soon, fate collides with Cleo Sherwood (Moses Ingram), a multi-job-working mother involved in the fight for African-American rights – we read in the official description of the production.

The series “Woman in the Lake” will be available on Apple TV+ starting July 19.
