The Clippers will open their new arena, Intuit Dome, with their first NBA regular season game on Oct. 23 against the Phoenix Suns and Team USA Olympic gold medalists Kevin Durant and Devin Booker. The Clippers are led by stars Kawhi Leonard and James Harden, who are leaving Crypto.com Arena for a $2 billion, state-of-the-art arena in Inglewood built by owner Steve Ballmer.

The Clippers will first face Paul George, who turned them down after five years with the Clippers to sign a four-year, $212 million contract with the 76ers, on Nov. 6 when Philadelphia visits the Intuit Dome.

The remainder of the Clippers’ schedule, along with the rest of the NBA, will be announced on Thursday.

This week, even more details about the Clippers’ schedule have emerged.

The Clippers are in the West “A” Group in the NBA’s Emirates Cup. They play their first Cup game on Nov. 15 in Houston, their second game at home against No. 22 Sacramento, their third game on Nov. 29 in Minnesota and their fourth game on Dec. 3 at home against Portland.

The Clippers are playing 16 straight games this season.

One of the benefits of the Clippers’ new arena is that the team will avoid playing Saturday home games at 12:30 p.m. this season, a time slot they often had to accept because they shared Crypto.com Arena with the Lakers and Kings.

All of the Clippers’ Saturday games at the Intuit Dome are at 7:30 p.m. They only have seven games that day.
