Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant will be re-evaluated in two weeks after suffering a left calf strain on Friday, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported.

Durant played 37 minutes in the Suns’ 114-113 victory over the host Dallas Mavericks on Friday.

During the team’s blistering 8-1 start, Durant averaged 27.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game while shooting 55.3 percent from the field and 42.9 percent from three.

Of course, replacing him in the Suns’ lineup is virtually impossible. It is the responsibility of Devin Booker and Bradley Beal to make more usage and score less. As for replacing his minutes, Royce O’Neale believes he will see more playing time at the 4 with KD gone.

The Suns return to action without Durant on Sunday evening against the visiting Sacramento Kings.
