With training camp quickly approaching, several teams are reportedly looking for a free agent.

According to Spotrac’s Keith Smith, forward Nassir Little has participated in workouts for the Boston Celtics, Golden State Warriors, Miami Heat and Sacramento Kings.

Little played the 2023-24 season with the Phoenix Suns, appearing in 45 games and averaging 3.4 points and 1.7 rebounds. The Suns released him on August 27.

Little, the 25th overall pick in the 2019 draft, spent the first four years of his career with the Portland Trail Blazers. He was sent to Phoenix as part of the blockbuster three-team trade that sent star point guard Damian Lillard to the Milwaukee Bucks.

Little is a solid wing defender who can also provide energy in attack, so he could be a valuable addition to a team that is competing.

The Celtics, Warriors, Heat and Kings are all hoping to compete for the title this year, so Little will have a chance to make an impact if he lands on one of those teams.
