Nasty Nati missing several key players for TBT opening match

CINCINNATI — Nasty Nati could be in dire straits heading into their opening game of the basketball tournament as key players from last season are questionable or even out.

Scorer Jacob Evans, who averages 20+ points per game, is questionable to play after making a quick trip to Cincinnati following another midweek game. Additionally, Nasty Nati’s best defenseman from last season, Marquez Letcher-Ellis, is having the same midweek crunch that makes him questionable.

Nati only had one game with forward Tre Scott last year due to the NBA Summer League and this year he has been held back for the same reason. Scott will not play in the opener, nor will fellow Summer Leaguer Isaiah Miller. The guard is expected to be a solid contributor to the team.

Cincinnati is the top-seeded team in the region, but they’ll have to battle absentees to advance against Team AboutBillions
