Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala celebrate Akkineni heritage ‘Devadasu’ ahead of their wedding |

On the second day of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2024, expectant couple Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya walked the red carpet for a special screening of the classic film ‘Devadasu’. This film features the legendary Akkineni Nageswara Rao, grandfather of Naga Chaitanya in one of his most celebrated roles called “Devdas”.
The presence of Sobhita and Chaitanya pays tribute to the rich legacy of Akkineni Nageswara Rao, while proudly carrying on Naga Chaitanya’s deep-rooted cinematic legacy. In the pictures, Naga Chaitanya is seen in a beautiful navy blue suit with matte finish, while Sobhita looked elegant in a light orange salwar suit. The footage also featured Chaitanya’s father, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and other family members, showing the close support surrounding the couple.

The screening of ‘Devadasu’ is expected to be a beautiful tribute to the past of Telugu cinema and joining it is the Akkineni family with Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala in the spotlight.

Recently, the couple’s wedding invitation was leaked online. According to the wedding invitation, it has a traditional South Indian aesthetic and includes details about their upcoming celebration. It includes motifs such as temples and bells, which emphasize their cultural roots. Along with the invitation, guests received beautifully curated goodie baskets filled with food parcels, flowers and other treats.
They got engaged in August 2024 and the couple will perform their wedding rituals on December 4, 2024, which will take place at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad.
