MrBeast reported to the FBI through company chat logs

According to fellow YouTuber Rosanna Pansino, messages allegedly exchanged between MrBeast and his employees – including former employee Ava Kris Tyson – have been sent to the FBI.

At 26, MrBeast – real name Jimmy Donaldson – holds the record for the most subscribers on YouTube, with more than 320 million followers at the time of writing. According to ForbesAs of 2022, he was making $54 million a year, mostly from ads on his YouTube videos. He has also become known for giving back to his followers, often uploading videos of his charitable giving.

Although MrBeast has always been loved by his loyal fans, online opinion of him is slowly starting to change after another video of him making racist and homophobic comments surfaced online. On August 1, MrBeast apologized for the comments. Some have also called him a “fraud” for allegedly staging content and he has been accused of knowingly employing a registered sex offender.

Additionally, an individual claiming to have worked for MrBeast accused him of having prior knowledge of allegations that Tyson once groomed a teenager.

Newsweek has contacted representatives of MrBeast, the FBI and Pansino via email, and Tyson via social media for comment.

Tyson has recently come under scrutiny for her interactions with someone using the social media handle LavaGS that started when he was 13 and Tyson was 20. The public online interactions between the pair reportedly included references to nude images, sex and anime pornography, hentai. The messages have been deleted.

Although Tyson has publicly apologized and LavaGS, who is now 20, has said the videos contained “huge lies” that “distort the truth,” MrBeast turned to X, formerly Twitter, in September to declare that he was “disgusted and was against the truth’. to such unacceptable acts.”

MrBeast confirmed he had cut ties with Tyson, saying he had “hired an independent third party to conduct a thorough investigation to ensure I have all the facts.”

The conversation around the allegations was revived on Sunday, when YouTuber Pansino shared a seven-minute video claiming messages were exchanged between MrBeast and his employees, including Tyson.

In the caption, Pansino — who made her name baking on YouTube, where she has more than 14 million subscribers — wrote on X that she had also turned over the message log to the FBI.

“Going through the MrBeast Company chat logs,” she said. “Here’s part 1 with a few edits (Discord handles).”

“These are from a Telegram channel that MrBeast (John Smith in these chats) used to communicate with Kris Ava Tyson and other employees,” Pansino continued. “Trigger warning because they discuss a lot of inappropriate topics (especially for a company that caters to children).”

Hours after sharing the post, which appeared to include a large portion of messages that had nothing to do with work, Pansino said she had passed the information on to the FBI in hopes it would launch a deeper investigation.

“I have reported what I found and my concerns to authorities @FBI,” she wrote. “Hopefully they will investigate these MrBeast Telegram Company Chats Logs and other concerns.”

Pansino, who also shared a YouTube video on Sunday discussing details of the chat logs, did not tell X how she came into possession of the messages.

Since the posts were shared, a number of Pansino’s unrelated uploads on the platform have been criticized by detractors. In response to a video featuring her dog, an The X-user in question then called her a “cancel culture clown.”

Underneath a video she shared of a song she released a year ago in honor of her father, Pansino replied with tears of joy emoji to another X user who told her she “hasn’t been relevant since 2017, why You’re still here screaming for attention.”

Another detractor told her the song was “worse than (KSI’s) new song,” prompting the internet personality to respond, “My family loves it.”

MrBeast has an unlikely enemy in Pansino, who has devoted social media posts to criticizing the online sensation. She has been investigating allegations of unsafe working conditions during production of MrBeast’s upcoming Amazon Prime Video reality show Beast gamesas well as other accusations.

Pansino, 39, one of YouTube’s earliest stars, recently told NBC News that the investigation into the allegations surrounding MrBeast had “sparked something in her.”

“I thought maybe in a few years I would retire because I’m just in that happy place,” she said in September. “But it really awakened something in me that, after hearing all these stories and seeing everything happen, I can’t in good conscience do nothing.”

Pansino stated that she had known MrBeast for about five years and told the news station that she had worked with him on a number of projects, including attempted business ventures. She also took part in three episodes of MrBeast’s Creator Games series on YouTube, in which Internet personalities compete for a cash prize.

Things took a turn for the worse in October 2023, when Pansino publicly accused MrBeast of cutting her out of the top three finalists Creator games 3. She has stated that she was hit with a storm of responses, including death threats, prompting her to inform MrBeast that she would be deleting all her posts and apologizing. The apology has since been deleted.

Pansino said her decision to publicly speak out against MrBeast has prompted a number of people to contact her and share accusations about their apparently adverse experiences working on projects related to the social media star.

“I think they feel like they can trust me because I’m one of the few major creators who has spoken out about my negative experiences working with Jimmy and I’ve also publicly said that I’m going to speak out more and trying to hold people accountable, especially him and the people in his company,” she said.
