Moroccan surfer Ramzi Boukhiam reaches second round in Tahiti

Moroccan surfer Ramzi Boukhiam showed his skill and determination on Saturday by securing a spot in the second round of the Olympic qualifying surfing competition in Teahupo’o, Tahiti.

Boukhiam impressed the judges and spectators in the 5th heat of the first round, scoring a total of 9.76 points. His performance placed him in second place, just behind Brazilian surfer Joao Chianca, who scored 10.07 points and went straight to the third round. New Zealander Billy Stairmand finished third in the heat with 5.53 points.
