More arrests over stabbing of man in Bradford

Two more men have been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the death of a man found with stab wounds in Bradford.

Luqman Ishfaq, 23, was found on Barlow Street in Barkerend on Monday, October 21, after what police said was an “incident of violent disorder” and later died in hospital.

A 23-year-old man and a 34-year-old were arrested on Friday, West Yorkshire Police said.

Two other men, aged 26 and 19, who were arrested on Thursday night, also on suspicion of murder, remain in police custody.

Another man, aged 24, who was arrested on suspicion of fraud, has been released on bail pending further investigations.

Police said 15 people have been arrested so far as part of the investigation by the Homicide and Major Investigation Team.

The 10 other people arrested in connection with Ishfaq’s death have now been released on bail, officers said.

A police spokesman had earlier said Mr Ishfaq was one of four people who fled a VW Golf involved in a disturbance and were chased by a group armed with weapons.
