Mohamed Salah scores again at Old Trafford

Manchester United now trail 3-0 at home to their great rivals after the Red Devils succumbed to renewed pressure from Liverpool.

Things are going from bad to worse for Erik ten Hag’s side, who now trail Liverpool by three goals at Old Trafford in a match that could determine the rest of the season.

After Trent Alexander-Arnold’s opening goal was ruled out for offside, Manchester United looked to be getting back into the game as they posed a real threat on the counter.

But thanks to two mistakes from Casemiro, Luis Diaz scored twice and Slot’s team went into halftime with a 2-0 lead.

Things went from bad to worse when Mohamed Salah slotted home the 3-0 just after half-time to make it 3-0, and he has now been more directly involved in goals against Manchester United than anyone else in the history of the competition.
