MLW hires David Marquez as new head of production

Marquez goes to MLW.

PWInsider reports that United Wrestling Network owner David Marquez is joining Major League Wrestling. The site notes that Marquez will work as the organization’s new head of production.

In addition to Marquez joining MLW, they will be upgrading to a larger production lineup starting on July 12 with the Blood & Thunder show in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Marquez oversees the Championship Wrestling brands, including Hollywood-based Championship Wrestling. He has more than 30 years of experience in broadcast television.

He was with the National Wrestling Alliance and served as the organization’s ring announcer.
