Miranda Lambert and Brendan McLoughlin’s loving appearance at CMAs

Miranda Lambert and husband Brendan McLoughlin made a glamorous appearance at the 2024 CMA Awards on Wednesday, November 20. Their lovey-dovey red carpet moment comes after months of rumors about their marriage, so it looks like they’re ending the year on a high note.

The 41-year-old country singer looked stunning in a simple, yet chic, black dress that hugged her beautiful curves. The off-the-shoulder draping was the perfect showcase for her long, blonde hair, styled in soft waves. Lambert accessorized her look with a smoky eye, stacks of bracelets and chunky turquoise rings. McLoughlin stuck with the classic black suit with a crisp white shirt – they looked fantastic together!

Still, the year was fraught with stories about the former New York City police officer acting flirtatious at the “Hell on Heels” singer’s bar in Nashville. Rumors about their five-year marriage started in June when a TikTok account shared a now-deleted video of McLoughlin doing a bit of bumping and grinding with a woman who wasn’t Lambert. He was also seen chatting pleasantly with another woman that same evening. Even though there was no PDA involved, it was still awkward behavior for a married man.

The fans also felt the same way about the clip and the text on the video said: “Miranda Lambert, come get your man.” She was reportedly unenthusiastic about McLoughlin’s actions during his night out on the town and caused some tension in their marriage. “She loves Brendan and takes their marriage seriously, so I know she’s upset about this,” says An Weekly contact source disclosed. ‘Brendan has a history of cheating which she is very aware of, which is why they talked about it at length before they got married. I’m sure Brendan is in the doghouse, and rightly so. He definitely crossed the line.”

Lambert has not discussed the matter publicly, but she did speak cryptically about her marriage in a September interview with We weekly. “I think what I learned the most is that communication is everything,” she explained. “Love is not always enough. You need to talk about s–t. And you sometimes have to make compromises and be willing to listen to each other when you have something important to say.” Lambert admitted that “love is hard some days,” but it seems pretty clear that she and McLoughlin are sticking to their united front even in tough times.

Those mid-year issues now appear to be behind them, as their red carpet appearance at the CMAs proved that nothing will hold Lambert and McLoughlin back.
