Miranda Cosgrove Teases ‘iCarly’ Project ‘In the Works’ That Will ‘Wrap Up’ Cliffhangers After Revival Cancellation

Miranda Cosgrove hinted that a iCarly A project was in the works that would give fans the closure they needed after the cancellation of the show’s revival.

In a new interview, Cosgrove discussed the possibility of a film to tie up the loose ends left by Paramount+’s decision to cancel the revival series after three seasons.

“I’m not allowed to confirm anything 100% yet, but I think the fans of the show are going to be super excited because we have something in the works,” Cosgrove said. The conversation.

iCarly was a teen sitcom created by Dan Schneider that ran for six seasons on Nickelodeon between 2007 and 2012. The series revolved around Cosgrove’s Carly Shay and her best friend Sam Puckett (Jeannette McCurdy), who become internet stars who produce their show online.

In 2021, Paramount+ premiered a revival of the show, with Cosgrove reprising her role as Carly. The show’s revival began in June 2021 and continued nearly a decade after the end of the original Nickelodeon show. It found that Carly, the original influencer, and her friends are now navigating work, love and family as adults.

The show’s third season left fans unsure if Carly and her boyfriend Freddie (Nathan Kress) would end up together or if the identity of Carly’s mother would finally be revealed.
