Millicent Omanga has accused cosmetic surgery clinic Body By Design following the death of Lucy Wambui.

Lucy died just days after undergoing cosmetic surgery at the clinic, and her death has raised eyebrows, with many people accusing Body By Design of a botched procedure.

How did Millicent Omanga react to the death of Lucy Wambui?

Omanga took to social media to claim the clinic had failed Lucy.

“We have lost a beautiful soul, my dear friend Lucy, due to sheer negligence at Body by Design Hospital. She walked through their doors and trusted them with her life for a procedure, but they failed her. This is not just a tragic event it is a call for responsibility,” she stated.

The former nominated senator argued that Body By Design should be closed and called for a thorough investigation into Lucy’s death.

“We cannot stand by while institutions with poor standards and careless practices are allowed to operate unchecked. Hospitals and clinics like Body by Design should not compromise the safety of their patients. We demand a thorough investigation and demand stricter oversight and accountability in all healthcare settings. Patient safety should never be negotiable,” she added.

She also imagined the suffering Lucy faced before her death and demanded justice.

She continued:

“No one should have to endure what Lucy went through, and no family should have to bear the unbearable grief of losing a mother, wife, sister and friend due to avoidable mistakes. We stand together to honor her memory and demand justice. Mama Angel.

Why did Mike Sonko storm the Body By Design clinic?

As previously reported, former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko and some of the youths stormed the offices of Body By Design after visiting Lucy’s grieving family.

In one video, the group was seen at the gate of the facility, shouting and declaring that they wanted justice for the late Lucy.

The hospital also released a statement saying they had launched an investigation into Lucy’s tragic death.
