Miles McBride Secures Luxury NYC Apartment for $15.5K a Month

According to Mary K. Jacob of the New York Post, New York Knicks defenseman Miles McBride has closed a deal on a luxury condo at One High Line in West Chelsea for $15,500 a month.

According to Jacob, One High Line pulled in a staggering $800 million in sales in the first half of 2024, including a shocking $52 million penthouse sale over the summer.

McBride’s 1,600-square-foot pad is a two-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom unit. McBride, 24, was able to secure a lease with One High Line with the help of Douglas Elliman’s Ben Jacobs and Jessica Chestler.

The landlord was represented by Alyssa Brody and William Kuchins of the Development Marketing Team, per Jacobs. The living space features include oak chevron floors, Molteni kitchen designs and a Gaggenau appliance package.

Additionally, the unit features marble accents, Calacatta Gold countertops, Saint Laurent marble surrounds and a Kaldewei bathtub.

In the master suite, McBride has motorized blackout shades and custom furniture by RH and William Yoaward. It also has a huge walk-in closet by California Closets. The ensuite bathroom has marble floors, radiant heat and a huge soaking tub, too.

Additionally, his second bedroom features a marble-clad bathroom with radiant heat, while the living room offers a 65-inch Samsung Frame TV, custom-made rugs and a marble dining table.

Residents of One High Line can also enjoy first-class amenities, including a swimming pool, a golf simulator and the services of the new Faena Hotel.

While the 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom apartment is expensive, McBride can still afford the Bjarke Ingels-designed living space.

In December 2023, he signed a three-year, $13 million contract extension with the Knicks. According to Spotrac, his average annual salary is $4.33 million. His deal includes a base salary of $4.71 million for the 2024-25 season.

In 68 games (14 as a starter) for New York last season, he averaged 8.3 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 19.5 minutes per game while making 45.2% of his field goals, 41% of his three-pointers and 86% of his free throws.

The West Virginia product scored a personal-best 29 points in the Knicks’ 119-112 win over the Golden State Warriors on March 18 and in a 145-101 victory over the Toronto Raptors on March 27. Against Toronto, he completed 10 of 17 (58.8%) shots from the floor and made nine 3-pointers on 14 attempts (64.3%), a personal-best.
