Microsoft CEO responds to rumors that Xbox has paused game ports for PlayStation and Switch

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella used his personal LinkedIn account to post his messages annual letter which describes Microsoft’s current position and where it wants to be in the future compared to where it is today.

Nadella discussed everything from AI, infrastructure, Microsoft’s performance and what the company is aiming for, and throughout the letter, the CEO touched on Microsoft’s perspective on gaming. That was only recently the case rumors began to spread that Microsoft was cutting corners on its original plan to bring Xbox games to other platforms like the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation. These rumors came from a Spanish insider”eXtas1s,‘ but they have now been proven wrong, given Nadella’s recent letter.

According to Microsoft’s CEO, the company will “continue to expand our content to new platforms,“while I’m doing the four trial titles which have already received ports: Grounded, Pentiment, Hi-Fi Rush and Sea of ​​Thieves. The previous rumor that Xbox would slow down the number of ports to other platforms came with the caveat that Xbox had not canceled the plans completely. However, this caveat still seems incorrect given the sentiment expressed by Microsoft’s CEO.
