Michigan State football TE on NFL’s radar for 2024 campaign

Michigan State’s new coaching staff hit a home run when they held off Washington and brought Oregon State tight end Jack Velling from Corvallis to East Lansing.

Velling has received a lot of praise for his outstanding play in his first two seasons at Oregon State, and now it appears the National Football League is taking notice.

Jim Nagy, a top NFL draft scout and executive director of the senior bowl, went into detail about Vellings’ impact heading into the fall:

No FBS staff got more out of their roster last year than Jonathan Smith’s team at Oregon State. The arrival of TE Jack Velling (6050th, 246th) from Corvallis to East Lansing was their biggest offseason acquisition.
