Meet the 2024 All-Livingston County Baseball Team

It was the year of the catcher in Livingston County baseball.

If we had limited the All-Livingston County first team to just one catcher, we would not have been able to assemble a representative group of players from the region this spring, especially if players with less impressive resumes had been transferred to fill positions.

So three players who were primarily catchers made the first team. To be technical: Hartland junior Brayden Crowe took an infield slot because he played third base a few times, while Brighton senior Carter Gregg got the utility tag even though he was strictly a catcher.

Pinckney junior Evan McGlothin was slated to be the first-team catcher after being named to the Division 2 all-state first team.

Brighton, which made the longest postseason run by reaching the regional final, leads the county with four first-team picks. Hartland and Pinckney each had three.
