Mayor of Roff arrested for assault

PONTOTOC COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) – The mayor of Roff was arrested after being charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Darren Braun, 59, was booked into the Pontotoc County Jail on Tuesday, according to jail records.

Online records show Braun posted a $10,000 bond and was released a few hours later.
