After one of the biggest trades of the season, sending Davante Adams to the New York Jets, the Las Vegas Raiders will not trade Maxx Crosby, team owner Mark Davis told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

“We do not trade Maxx Crosby,” Davis said in an email to ESPN. “Before or after the trade deadline!!!”

One source told Schefter that “it would be beyond shocking” if the Raiders moved Crosby before the Nov. 5 trade deadline.

The Raiders are currently 2-5 on the season and are on a three-game losing streak entering Sunday’s game against the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs.

It appears Crosby will remain with the Raiders until the completion of the season under his four-year, $94 million contract with the team.

Crosby has been a big asset for the Raiders for a long time, and this year has been no different. He has totaled 23 tackles and 6.5 sacks this season.

Currently struggling at the quarterback position, after Aidan O’Connell was placed on injured reserve due to a thumb injury, backup Gardner Minshew stepped in last Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams and finished with 154 yards, three interceptions, one fumble and two pockets.

Ahead of the Nov. 5 trade deadline, potential trades for key players such as Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp, Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett and Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons have been halted despite circulating rumors, according to Rapoport and Pelissero. .

The fate of several players remains uncertain, with some being mentioned as potential trade options, including New York Jets wide receiver Mike Williams, New England Patriots edge rusher Josh Uche, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver KJ Osborn and Carolina Panthers wide receivers Adam Thielen and Diontae. Johnson, according to Rapoport and Pelissero

The Raiders will look to earn their first win since Week 4 on Sunday.
