Markswoman Kim Ye-ji exudes ‘lead character energy’ in Louis Vuitton shoot

South Korean sniper Kim Ye-ji, who rose to internet fame with her effortlessly cool hero look, has made the transition from Olympic medalist to high fashion model.

Korean fashion magazine W Korea published a photoshoot online on Sunday showing Kim in Louis Vuitton outfits, complete with props such as shooting glasses and air pistols, as she continues her sharpshooter image during her modeling debut.

In a set of 10 photos, the 31-year-old embodies the “lead character energy” noted in a popular X-post sharing Kim’s appearance. On her Instagram page, fans captivated by her poise and model-like demeanor described her beauty as “surreal” and her presence as “iconic.”

However, her modeling work does not mean she is saying goodbye to her sports career.

In an interview with W Korea, she said her media presence is part of her efforts to promote the sport of shooting.

Kim expressed her desire to be “remembered as the best shooter” and to “have people recognize that she shoots,” saying, “My priority is training and competition schedule. My goal is always to surpass myself. I will continue to push myself.”

The magazine explained that more photos of Kim, along with the full interview, would appear in the October issue of W Korea.

During the Paris Olympics in May, a 27-second video of Kim competing in the 25-meter air pistol final of the International Shooting Federation World Cup was viewed in Baku, Azerbaijan. This video received a lot of admiration on social media and in international media.

At this year’s World Cup she won gold in the 25-meter pistol and silver in the 10-meter air pistol in Baku. At the World Championships in Munich she won a bronze medal in the 25-meter pistol.

Kim won silver in the 10m air pistol at the Olympic Games in Paris.
