Maria Sharapova, Mike and Bob Bryan on the 2025 Hall of Fame ballot

NEWPORT, R.I. — Five-time Grand Slam singles champion Maria Sharapova and the doubles team of brothers Mike and Bob Bryan have been named to the International Tennis Hall of Fame’s Class of 2025 inductees.

Daniel Nestor, a 12-time major doubles champion from Canada, also appears again on the list announced Tuesday.

Sharapova is one of 10 women to complete a career Grand Slam. She won her first major at Wimbledon in 2004 at age 17. The Russian won the French Open twice, captured titles at the 2006 US Open and the 2008 Australian Open, reached No. 1 in the WTA rankings and spent 408 weeks in the top 5.

The Bryans have combined for 16 major titles, the 2012 Olympic gold medal and a record 438 weeks at the top of the doubles rankings. Mike Bryan leads the career doubles rankings with 18 Grand Slam titles, two of which he won with Jack Sock while his twin brother was injured in 2018.

Nestor won eight major doubles titles and four mixed doubles titles, and won the Olympic gold medal in 2000.

The class will be announced in October and the initiation weekend is scheduled for August 21-23, 2025.
