Marcham crash driver pleads guilty over teenage deaths

A 19-year-old driver has entered guilty pleas after the deaths of three teenagers in a crash.

Thomas Johnson, who was seriously injured when the BMW he was driving struck a tree in Marcham, Oxfordshire, appeared before magistrates previously charged with causing death by dangerous driving.

Daniel Hancock, 18, Ethan Goddard, 18, and Elliot Pullen, 17, all from Abingdon, died in the crash on June 20, 2023.

No formal pleas could be entered, but his lawyer said Mr Johnson wanted it to be put on the public record that he intended to plead guilty to all three charges at his first hearing at the Crown Court.
