Man United’s Jadon Sancho open to PSG move ahead of Deadline Day

Jadon Sancho’s future at Man United remains uncertain with the transfer window closing next week. However, reports from France suggest the winger is keen on a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

The Englishman returned to the Manchester club this summer after spending the second half of the 2023/24 season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, after falling out with manager Erik ten Hag at the start of the season.

The pair struck up a fight during pre-season, with Dutch coach giving Sancho the chance to prove himself during the Premier League giants’ tour of the United States.

However, the 24-year-old was not in Man United’s squad for the season opener against Fulham last Friday, with Ten Hag citing an ear infection as the reason for his absence.

With Sancho being linked with a move away from the Manchester club, many are cynical about the Man United boss’ explanation, as there is a chance the winger could leave Old Trafford before next week’s transfer deadline, with his future still open.

Reports from France provide an update on Sancho’s future as top European clubs consider signing the troublesome winger.

According to RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins, the 24-year-old wants to move to PSG before Deadline Day, but talks have not progressed despite the Ligue 1 champions being interested. A deal is unlikely, with Man United reportedly asking for £51m for the Englishman and no club will pay that for the winger after what he has shown in recent years.

The Premier League club are clearly keen to recoup the majority of the £73million they paid Borussia Dortmund three years ago, but Sancho’s value has fallen dramatically and his future is uncertain with just 10 days left in the current transfer window.
