Man suffers serious facial injuries in attack in Lisburn

A man has suffered serious facial injuries after being attacked in Lisburn.

The man, who was in his 20s, was attacked after an argument broke out outside a licensed premises in the Queensway area.

The incident happened around 1 a.m. on Saturday.

Police say one of the men involved in the altercation attacked the man with a glass object.

A PSNI statement said: “Officers attended and provided first aid to the man at the scene. He was subsequently transported to hospital for treatment of his injuries and is in a stable condition.”

Officers have called on witnesses to come forward.
