Man seriously injured after attack in Swindon car park

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm after a man suffered serious head injuries.

Wiltshire Police were called to the Spring Gardens car park in Swindon at around 5.30pm BST on Wednesday to assist ambulance crews responding to a “medical incident”.

A woman in her 40s was arrested but released on bail while investigations continued.

Police said the victim, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital to be treated for serious injuries, which are “not believed to be life-threatening”.
