Man City are willing to listen to offers for a big money transfer

Manchester City have made an excellent start to their Premier League campaign after winning both games with ease.

The Sky Blues beat Chelsea 2-0 in the first leg and easily defeated Ipswich Town 4-1 in their second game of the season.

The match marked the return of midfielder Ilkay Gundogan to the club after he left the Premier League champions last summer to join Barcelona in La Liga.

His return could be bad news for a Man City player as Pep Guardiola’s team consider letting one of their players leave the club.

According to Football Insider, Man City are willing to listen to offers for midfielder Matheus Nunes.

The Portuguese midfielder left Wolves almost a year ago for a fee of £53million (via Sky Sports).

Man City are ready to cash in on midfielder Matheus Nunes.

The midfielder made just nine Premier League appearances for the Premier League champions last season as City’s midfielders suffered injuries.

With Gundogan’s arrival at the club, his playing time will further decrease and therefore the Premier League giants have decided to sell the player.

Man City face a race against time to sell Matheus Nunes

Manchester City have set a £40million price tag for Nunes, but with just five days left in the transfer window his departure from the Etihad Stadium seems highly unlikely.

The midfielder, who has four years left on his contract with the club, is attracting interest from the Saudi Pro League.

Manchester City have a good midfield position and Nunes needs to move away from the Etihad Stadium to further develop his career.
